The Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is situated on the edge of the Rift Valley in southwest Uganda. One of Uganda's oldest and most biologically diverse rainforests, dating back more than 25,000 years, and home to around 400 different plant species protects the mist-covered mountains. Additional 120 mammals are also protected in this naturally diverse area, including several primate species including baboons and chimpanzees, elephants, and antelopes.
